International Atomic Energy Agency
A series of covers for AFB's-statistical publications

By Klaus L. Hougesen

The IAEA is the world´s center of cooperation in the nuclear field. It was set up as the world´s "Atoms for Peace" organization in 1957 within the United Nations family. The Agency works with its Member States and multiple partners worldwide to promote safe, secure and peaceful nuclear technologies.

We created a series of designs & layout elements for the IAEA to revitalize their program look and integrating the Atomic in their name more into their overall visual identity system.

The designs are based upon High Energy Plasma, Atomic nuclei, fission/fusion processes, generative flow and the graphic interpretation of them.

As with many other of our projects some of the artworks was created using Processing and nodebox two programming environments ideally suited for screen based computations.
